Dr. C V Somashekar has led Sri Venkateshwara Generators since 1992, carrying forward the values his father, founder C K Venkatachalaiah, built the company on and shaping it into Bengaluru's most trusted mobile generator rental company.
A trained automobile engineer from PES Institute of Technology, he brought a rare combination of technical precision and hands-on business leadership to the fleet — expanding its range from 62 kVA to 1500 kVA, and earning the confidence of industry leaders such as Intel, Infosys, Wipro, Biocon, GE, HAL and Bosch, alongside hospitals, large-scale events and international exhibitions.
His standing reaches well beyond the business. He has been honoured with an Honorary Doctorate from Lyndon University, USA, and recognised with distinctions including the International Leadership Medal and Best President of the Year.
